Peele on Stephen
The Winthrop coach in the Tampa paper: “We’ve played Davidson’s Stephen Curry and some of the other guards, but I’d say he’s the best guard I’ve seen for us in terms of with the ball in his hands. To me, he’s just absolutely tremendous. He gets everybody involved in the game. He’s the straw that stirs the drink.” (Also, just as an aside, I believe as an employee of the St. Petersburg Times I’m contractually obligated to point out that the Tampa Trib spelled Randy Peele’s last name wrong.)

"Stephen Curry is the most outstanding player on that team, but Richards is the most valuable," Winthrop coach Randy Peele said. "He's the straw that stirs the drink."
