A thought

Claire’s post yesterday made me pop in the Gonzaga DVD. The moment with just over a minute left when Andrew gets that offensive-rebound loose ball by the baseline, and when he turns around and looks for Stephen, and when he whips the ball back out so Stephen can break the 74-all tie -- at that moment, yesterday, I had the thought I always have when I re-watch that play: If Jeremy Pargo had tried only a little harder. If only he had reached a little more. If only he had lunged a little longer.

The line is thin.
